written by Mina MIYAJIMA
Shinchosha Publishing Co.,Ltd
Every time Naruse starts the challenge beyond our imagination, I can't help but cheer her on.
The reasons of great goals she sets, and the steadiness of her mind made my heart flutter. This is an interesting and refreshing story that lifts you up.
Naruse! Naruse! Naruse!
I was completely fascinated with her and other characters.
I couldn’t but help love Naruse.
I read it with fun and enhanced. This is the best school novel.

Nene of the Water Mill
written by Kikuko TSUMURA
Mainichi Shimbun Publishing, Inc.
“This story is made up of every person’s conscience.”
I felt this phrase exactly described the book all about. I liked how the kindness of each person connected, and how they lived through the way they thought they were happy. I have read the book with a gentle and warm feeling.

Sonzai No Subete Wo
written by Takeshi SHIOTA
Asahi Shimbun Publications, Inc.
This is exactly what I wanted to read! The story begins with the unprecedented simultaneous kidnapping of two children, and each tense development keeps your heart pounding as you turn the pages. It’s not one of those trendy stories full of twists or gimmicks. Rather, it steadily moves forward—step by step, like walking through snow—toward a quiet, profound conclusion. I want to share this story with new readers.

Spinoza Clinic
written by Sosuke NATSUKAWA
Suirinsha Ltd.
A new hero has emerged in the world of medicine...! Pursuing the cutting edge can make one neglect the human side of care, while focusing deeply on the human side may mean falling behind in technology. Struggling with this dilemma, Dr. Machi stands out with exceptional skills, provides compassionate home visits to terminal patients, and even has a fondness for Kyoto’s traditional sweets...! I sincerely hope to follow Dr. Machi's journey. I would love to see this become a series.

The Chronicles of Leende
written by Rei TASAKI
Kodansha Ltd.
This is a classic example of a fantasy novel. I was impressed by the richly depicted world.
There are many brave characters in this story. Julia, Tristan, and Hector each have their own kind of strength, but they all share the same passion.
The writing is beautiful, and the book’s design and illustrations are also excellent. I’d love to keep exploring it in more detail.

Sisters in Yellow
written by Mieko KAWAKAMI
Chuokoron-Shinsha, Inc.
This is a highly engaging novel. People don’t usually change all at once, but gradually—like colors blending together or being gently eroded over time. The main character in this story changes in just that way, and the novel thoughtfully depicts this process. I couldn’t stop reading.
